Favorite Unnoticed Aspect of New Aatrox Rework

Hello everyone!

Been watching the new Aatrox rework on the PBE and overall, I think the rework was good. It was executed pretty well. Might be a little too different for people who enjoyed what he was before but I think this is a very nice improvement. Not a huge fan of his voice direction but that is besides the point. Who know, maybe it will grow on me.

What I wanted to point out was actually my favorite part of the rework that no one has mentioned yet. It is very subtle but I noticed it right away. My favorite part is actually what I will refer to as Aatrox's "new theme" and it plays when he uses his ultimate. I absolutely love this. Really gives the player this feeling of being a warlord going into a fight. I know this has been done more recently with champions (Jhin's Ult, Swain walking to lane at the start of the game, etc...) but it is a great way to engage the player in the game more than they already are. I'm a sucker for sound and music design so this gets me excited anyway. I'd also like to point out that this wouldn't be effective if the theme itself didn't express the intensity of war so to the writer of the piece, excellent work!

Hats off to the sound design teams and music departments! You never fail to impress!

I completely agree, the theme is badass, and it is overall amazing. It perfectly fits Aatrox's looks and lore. However recently, like 4 days ago I noticed that theme is gone from his ult, and there is just some ambient sound. (I played around with audio settings, but to no avail) I have no clue why its like that, maybe its bugged and being fixed, or it may be intentional. I have no clue, i hope its not intentional and permanent change though, because the theme is truly amazing, and would be a waste. If anyone knows why its like that, please let me know !
