So... Each time you level up, you get a capsule. The people who spent time getting to lvl 30 before this update will get 30 capsules, right? Only seems fair, seeing as we worked for it...

No, we got ip for every game we played on our way to level 30 (and in fact most of us probably played way more games than modern people take to get to 30), while new players doing the 1-30 leveling process don't get IP(/BE) for their games and only get the level up capsules, so those of us who are 30 already actually got the better deal.
Remember capsules are not hextech chests, and have rigged loot to them, so we're not missing out on the chance for gemstones/skins/etc, and instead we got thousands of IP directly instead of things like ashe shards (which 99.99% of us would just disenchant into BE anyway).
