Abusive players in the champion select, what measures are being taken? What can be done?

I've recently been a part of a several champion selections with players joining who are abusive. How are players who are intentionally ruining the champion selection being addressed? When a player is in your selection swearing to throw the game by selecting a Marksman and choosing "teleportsummoner 12 // smitesummoner 11 "(even though you have an ADC and a jungler already), the respectful thing to do is dodge the queue. Dodging the queue removes ones ability to mark these players with a report for their abusive behavior. I've been happy to forgo the report to save my team from a 20 minute surrender many times but it leaves my feeling like the abusive player has succeeded. Any ideas to address this issue? maybe just champion selection honor, Any way to encourage pre-game cooperation and to dissuade players from trolling before ever summoner 4 summoning onto the rift.summoner 4

To be fair Dual ADC comps are becoming more popular lately and they can be effective. Additionally ADCs are opting to take TP over heal too because getting too and from lanes/farm faster is a worthwhile option if youre confident in your ability to not need a heal too often anyway. Taking smite even when youre not jungling is a VERY underrated but actually effective strategy (at least in pubs) especially now with the new jungling--being that all you have to do is smite a the large minion to get a buff that can help nicely in lane. I agree that i wouldn't really condone leaving Flash UNLESS youre on a very mobile champion that can do well enough without it. Im not saying i personally favor doing any of these myself but i HAVE seen some pros working wonders doing them.

Bad attitudes and abusive players will always come and go and there really isn't anything to do to stop them. But regarding the meta those things aren't actually as troll as they seem. A person CAN troll with them, but they can also be used rather effectively on a person that knows how to make them work.

What use would an ADC have obtaining any buff from the Jungle that isn't Gromp? Even still, taking Smite to hit a minion that won't even be alive enough for you to make full use of that over Heal or Flash is stupid. Heal can allow your Support to live, and allow your entire team to live from either the Movement boost, or the heal. Flash can let you chase enemies that would otherwise escape, or escape with your own life. Smite is worthless on an ADC, you won't have near enough chances to properly use it.

As i already clearly said above its a pub strategy. Also as i mentioned i wasn't condoning leaving flash--i DID say that if you read my post long enough to reply to it. I cant speak for you personally but i have played against it many times, where more than one member takes smite for various reasons, and i was talking about the gromp and the crugs. Even LCS Pros are constantly using double AD comps, and occasionally leaving flash behind for other things.

I have played against everything i mentioned above, where my team laughs at "look at them theyre stupid trolls" and then we get rekt by the weird retarded strategy they did because they actually used it properly in addition to just being good players. I never said this is how the meta should be though :V

Don't argue with me just for the sake of doing so if you didn't pay attention to what youre replying to.
