"Slaughter rule" for secondary role in draft pick (for supports)?

I dig the new draft mode, its pretty cleverly implemented. However I keep hitting an annoying snag that has caused me to change my behavior.

I am a mid main, and secondary support. In a perfect world, i would expect my to play my primary role the most, with maybe a 6:4 or 7:3 ratio to my secondary. However since my secondary is support, which is always in such high demand, I get sup for the overwhelming majority of games (like, 1:9). Now I like support, but i dont like playing it that much.

As a result, i have switched my secondary off support (for Top). Now i am getting a much more reasonable spread of games as my primary, but i do feel bad, since i am contributing to the "lets all wait for someone to play sup" issue.

It might be nice of the matching algorithm could respect that i haven't gotten my primary pick in a long while, and start weighting things in my favor. This would let my choice of going support feel like less of a binary decision.

The system does not care about what you think you deserve or entitled to. All it cares about is finding players to get a match going and most people do not want to support.

Which is a fine and fair system, except when it changes people's behavior (there is at least one less support in the world because there is effectively no such thing as a "secondary" support). You dont want a system that drives away the most needed players

I rather have those that really prefer to support, Its weeding out players like you, so working as needed.
