i am so done with this new rank system. just because i went into ranked last season not really good and then i stopped playing for sometime and got bumped down to bronze five. when i came back after a while i decided to get back into ranked and i got up to bronze 4. i really hated elo hell so i did something about it. now this provisional because of afk's, feeders, one reason or another i won my provisionals 6/4 and i got placed into bronze 5 . SERIOUSLY RIOT?! BRONZE V, ITS AS IF I LOST ALL MY PROVISIONAL AND DIDN'T EVEN MAKE AN ATTEMPT. I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF LOSING ALL GAMES AND KNOWING I DESERVE BRONZE V, RATHER THAN WINING MOST AND GETTING BRONZE 5 WHICH I DON'T DESERVE. So IT SEEMS I CANNOT ESCAPE THIS ELO HELL. You're this upset because you went from bronze 4 to bronze 5?

There is definitely a problem here, but it's not the ranking system.

...The soft reset set most players lower than they were. SInce you were at Bronze 4, the only step below was Bronze 5.

Generally you want to wait a few weeks before doing your provisionals.
