Remembered why i HATE playing ranked

It's not even a skill game at this point to me, just pure luck. I've played 3 games for my provisionals. I was Azir Mid all 3 games.

1st game: Enemy mid int feeds and afk's (ez win)

2nd game: Our JG twitch (lmao) feeds enemy fiddle first 2 kills. Fiddle snowballs. Whole team flames me and tells everyone to report me. Can't even defend myself, cause i'm on a chat ban.

3rd game: twisted fate mid roams while I ping mia 3 times hoping team will get the point. Top lane Kennen gets ganked, flames me rest of the game, and trolls cause "I have to follow my midlaner everywhere". He continues flaming and trolling to the point I don't even wanna try to play. All the while he is encouraging everybody to report me. Can't defend myself cause of chat ban.

Is this really what ranked is? I guess so. Trolls that refuse to co-operate with a team LOL I'm about to just become a ranked troll cause this shit is ridiculous.

my question is why you had a chat ban.

I truly believe it gets better (slightly) at higher elo. You need to realize close to 80% of the playerbase are bronze-silver, so when you hit higher gold/plat/diamond/etc. I truly believe itll get better and thats why I keep queing up each day. If I somehow knew it wouldnt be as toxic and shit, Id just uninstall but I need to find out for myself.

All I know is that silver is the most toxic cancer elo there is, and gold is pretty bad too, but beats being in silver/bronze...

I don't even like playing ranked anymore, I am brand new to the game (2 months). I hate it with a passion dude, normal games are so much more fun.

You should have played last season without Dynamic Queue. I bet you would find it more challenging, fair and fun.

If you're new to the game, there's a lot to learn before you can take on ranked and find much luck with it. Once you learn those mechanics, you'll find ranked to be a bit better, especially if you're in the lower ELO and playing as though you have to carry the match. But a lot to learn before you can get there.

Nah, this game isn't fun in ranked. I much rather normal games. No guidance what so ever getting from 1-30 unless you know people. This game is so fucked in it's current state, I'm gonna get better as a player and keep stomping everything until I'm diamond. But for other new players who can blaze through account level 1 to 30, they have zero guidance and no clue what laning is. What's the hope for the future if no one here is teaching new players on how to do these things?

Well, I don't use strategy guides to learn how to play games. I have researched topics and champions because it's important to note how they work to play well, but two things come to mind:

  1. Knowing how to counter any champion
  2. Knowing how to max the play of your own

For that, general discussion is paramount. At the same time, I've learned how to steamroll the game currently by trial-and-error and learning from my mistakes. The game is pretty straight-forward in that department. It's just that there's no mistake training guides readily available because the mistakes are conditional in many cases. In that regard, the game does a poor job of teaching the noob how to play. But as far as your notion that ranked is boring, you're essentially saying the whole game is boring, because the only difference between ranked and no is the risk of loss of status.

That really is all I care about, risk of loss of status.

I've been taught to get gud and get diamond my entire career here, but how do you approach those steps?

No one taught me to build, no one taught me to last hit, no one taught me to watch the map and ward, this game is stupid for noobs.

No one taught me how to support, yet I am doing fine. When have you ever been diamond? On this account, never. But if you pay attention to chat, people tell you what they think you are doing wrong, and even though they usually give bad feedback, their complaints are usually legit. The learning curve is huge, but the issues are pointed out, and proactive players can learn what they need to learn to overcome. Just because it isn't in-game doesn't mean it should be or that it doesn't exist.

But when they usually give feedback, it is them yelling at you for slipping up in some manner or another. No one is going to teach you these things, I don't look at these things as myself as a player because I am a casual player, I'd rather help other than benefit in whatever manner people think is good.

Doesn't seem like you play ranked much given your match history on this account. There is some element of luck to the ranked experience, and there are more than less disadvantaged matches you'll find yourself in, but as someone who decided to play the best I could and learn from my mistakes, I've found that it's made all the difference from how my games pan out. I play my game like I am the only one there and the only one who matters. I chase the best KDA I can get, and that right there has made me win a lot of my games. It's the attitude. If your team isn't playing like a team, then just play like a boss. ;)

Well... it gets better the higher rank you achieve in the troll department. However platinum is the awkward middle child of flaming though, so good luck I guess.

Trolls ragers and afk's only get slightly better until plat 1/2 then it is horrid. Then it's unbearably will crushing until high diamond 4, d3. Then it is elo heaven

How did you even got a chat ban.

Sure playing a few ranked games may be luck. But seriously dude, it has way more to do with skill than luck in the long run. Or are you just gonna say everyone got their rank by luck? cuz that doesn't really make sense.

Looking at your history, the only game you did well was a 4v5. You got hard carried in the other win.

I think you should look at your own game, not complain about other people's
