Irelia vs jax

Jax does outscale her and pushes down turrets quicker, but she is just flat out stronger in the early-mid game. I think this is the primary reason that people play her, she is just easier to snowball on.

Jax does nothing better right now than her because he got overnerfed

It's why Irelia's win rate is around 51-52 and jax's is around 47, and why nobody ever picks Jax anymore in competitive

People that say otherwise are trolling you and probably just want to believe that Jax is still good but he's pretty bad, numbers don't lie

Reasons to Pick Irelia over Jax:

• Early/Mid game advantage
• Better kill potential in lane
• Mid game power spike
• Dash with reset

Reasons to pick Jax over Irelia:

• Late game advantage
• AOE stun
• Better split pusher
• Faster at taking towers
• Very item dependent

Jax is definitely not better in every way, irelia has a way stronger early/mid game and is still relevant late game while jax has a pretty bad early game. You can either choose a stronger champ early game or choose a stronger lategame champ, they are both good at different things.
