Any top lane suggestions please?

So I have been playing League for awhile but I have been mainly Support/ADC and I actually want to start avoiding that lane. It seems.. too toxic sometimes.. But I recently started top and I was looking for suggestions for champs I could play consistently so get better or just overall good and not too easily countered (obviously everyone is countered). Any suggestions from ranked players who have had 2-3 champions that have taken them far in ranked, greatly appreicated!! <3
