i ended s5 in gold 5 and during preseason i ended in plat 5, will i start this season with plat mmr?

Balthid1 votesYour rank at the end of the preseason determines who you are allowed to Q with and who you will play against starting out. Your ranking at the end of the Ranked season determines your MMR.
Excitidly Insane1 votesPlaying ranked during pre-season helps seed you higher but not much else. I wouldn't touch placements until at least a month into the season while the whole thing settles down as you'll probably be put into a division lower than the one you ended in.
