Aram changes are overkill

At first I was happy when I saw damage reduction to most cancerous champs on aram, but in the game I realized this is wrong approach. Nerfed champions are freaking not satisfying to play now. It's more fun to play against them, but I rather deal with some cancer champ from time to time, than play them with this handicap. Not to mention it makes some games horrible to play. In my first game today my whole team had -20% damage reduction at least, we had ziggs, so he had -30%, his ult was a joke. Enemies were doing whatever they wanted. Also now you have to relearn your damage for aram purposes, which is also pain in the ass. It sounds good, doesn't work. They should just keep bans. Bans are really good addition to aram, becasue some champions are so frustrating to play against that I really consider going afk when I have to face them.

Dude, your summoner name is "dying game btw" .. why should anyone expect you to be satisfied with the changes Riot is making?

What these changes do is prevent those who have “ARAM-only” accounts from getting cheese picks all the time. Yes, people literally make accounts with only a few champions on them but they are the most annoying to face champions.

Anivia Azir Blitzcrank Brand Caitlyn Heimerdinger Fiddlesticks Janna Jayce Karma Leblanc Lux Morgana

Just to name a few.

Now imagine playing against MULTIPLE ARAM-only accounts and basically having the randomized aspect of the game mode become completely irrelevant if the only champions they have are cheese picks. This is why bans are being tested, to eliminate ARAM-only accounts.

Damage nerfs are necessary, as are the bans because your mana regeneration in ARAM is light years ahead of what you have on Summoners Rift. If they don’t turn the damage knob down a few pegs but keep the insane mana regen it wouldn’t matter if they allow bans.

Bans were more than enough to make ARAM more enjoyable and diverse. Nerfing the mega strong champs anyway makes the addition of bans irrelevant

I do not agree with the bans at all, it is just covering up for crappy game balance.

The nerfs are a fine way to go, they just need to tweak them some. I am sorry but Ziggs was insane strong and so was Sona.....70% win rate....I dont know if I ever lost an ARAM game where I rolled Sona. The nerfs were needed, they just need to balance them more. I still see plenty of damage from casters, its just not the instawin roll it used to be. Honestly I still see mage comps winning a lot, but now a balanced team does better. You can't be full mage and win as easy anymore, and that is good. I have won most of my games today and I have mostly played casters and do well, the cool thing I am seeing now though is that I am not the highest dam on the team guaranteed if I go mage. Hell, I even carried a game with Skarner today! It was a lot of fun.

TLDR: bans are the wrong way to go, jsut give them time to balance the nerfs, this really is their first real attempt at balancing champs for ARAM.

I actually agree. Don't love the damage changes for champs at all.

I do love the bans and item changes though. I won't ever have to play against xerath again if I don't want to.
