New Client Feedback: Adding the option to open your friends list during champion select

Just giving some feedback on what I think will make the new client better. You used to be able to open your friends tab in champ select and this was a feature on the old client and I am a bit confused why it didn't continue on to the new client. There is no way to message your friend if you don't have a message thing open for them already and that can get annoying. I don't see why you can't simply add this feature back and I am hoping you do.
