Dynamic queue = Boosted

I have read multiple posts today and something interesting came into my mind and that is now i have started using the word "Boosted" more often ever since the release of dynamic queue, simply because probably a high percentage of players now did not earn their rank alone and got boosted by their friends as a 5 man team which counts as Solo Q .

I mean it is kinda over for us its impossible to climb to high ranks now thanks to dynamic queue , it is impossible unless you have 2 man friends to boost you.

I understand riot made dynamic queue to make the game team play oriented but at the same time ruined most peoples experience to play the game . Their new emblem system does not offer us anything and does not fix what they have done, do you expect an emblem to make a player quit abusing the system they created ? Nope everyone wants to win and they will do it even if it shows they got boosted.

I climbed Silver IV -> Gold V using only solo and duo que. If you deserve to be a higher rank you'll still become that higher rank, DQ doesn't change that. What it does do is fuck up high elo and slightly boost players in large groups of people (I'm talking one or two divisions, you can't boost yourself very far without a smurf helping you, which was possible before DQ anyways.)

Lets say you are an average LoL player (Silver smth) and you've got a couple of friends that are Dia/Masters/Challenger.

In order for you to climb using DQ you need your friends to create smurf accounts, level those up to 30 and fail their promos.

After this they team up with you and as you go further away from Silver you become more of a burden for your team (given that you aren't improving much). This means that the odds of your team winning any given game are lower than if they simply kicked you out and got a random guy that belongs.

Lets say your friends succeded in boosting you all the way to Diamond. Now you are facing 3 options:

  1. quit LoL until the end of season, play 1 game per month in order to not decay.
  2. play only with your friends because playing solo you get crushed and flamed.
  3. start improving real fast.

TL;DR The boosting system you're talking about is not viable from the time investment point of view.

DynamicQ Challenger = a bunch of shit boosted Animal!

Dynamic Q is the new ELO Hell. It's the excuse people who think they're better than they are use to explain why they're not challenjour.

You really think its impossible to climb? I climbed as a solo player up to Plat. If I was better, I'd be in Diamond by now, but I'm not, so I have to keep learning and getting better.

Basically, git gud.

It's called Dynamic Boost

Dynamic Queue wants to be team play oriented but it fails. Why? It's not ranked teams. Dynamic Queue is basically allowing what should have been ranked teams to play with everyone else.

Whats even worse is you can get the medal after 25 games of support, even if you lost all 25 games you probably wouldn't drop a division and there is no way they would lose all 25 as they could get carried in at least 10 of those games due to running support.

If they wanted those badges to mean something it should scale off of 70% solo matches vs premade matches and make it retroactive if possible.

I don't think it's impossible to climb solo (I think it IS more difficult due to smurfs and boosting (plus the premades), but not "impossible"). That said, it IS pretty ridiculous now. I'm currently on a losing streak started (and probably maintained) by getting tilted by a rash of AFKs, but after a recent loss, I got a friend request out of nowhere. I have friends that often change their user names so I just figured it was one of them messing with his account. Nope, it was a "ad" for me to buy "boosting service" from someone who "carried the other team in my last game".

I wish I had screen-capped it now, but instead I just shook my head "WTF" and moved on. But that's apparently what league is now.

Just wait till they give out the Badges of Shame and all the boosted animals will have one to match their skills... Beyond that point in time, the only way to get rid of the badge of shame is to play solo. We will see what happens then.

I think my winrate with my friend is like 90% but alone it's like 10% lol, and he says i'm better than him so yeah...I think there's something going on here with Dynamic Queue.

So now since I climb solo I can't make a single mistake or I just gonna be called Boosted? great community

King of Mongoose6/23/2016, 3:17:35 PM1 votes

I climbed to diamond only soloq, mainly because all my friends are low elo and whenever I do duo with someone they feed hard

So the boosted player gets to gold and stops playing. Whats the problem there? He gets to plat and he playes one game a month. He is only influencing ONE game per month he gets to diamond and has to play one game a week. He will quickly fall out of diamond. and if the people boosting the player are winning with a complete vegetable on their team, well then they deserve THEIR wins.

Imagine that you are the booster and you get a dynamic queue badge, people will say you are boosted even if you are the booster lol
