Jax cause you gave him item 3065 and Irelia gets to have item 3143 which is useless against that Jax .

volibear with rageblade . gunblade . tenacity boots . steraks gage . maw . randuins is probably strongest 1v1 champion currently. give volibear ferver for the 1v1 or strength of ages for teamfight

Volibear eats everybody no contest. item 3146 on would be idiotic imo though. item 3930 item 1316 item 3748 item 3078 item 3742 item 3065 item 3340 item 2138 . OP. If you are gonna go squishy, item 3124 item 3156 together are broken. > item 3143 ANYDAY ANY WAY. Strength of the ages is my preference but fervor of battle would be better for squishy, and strength of the ages for tanky. I like playing tanky Volibear more though he's better as a tank. I wouldn't take item 3053 , I like item 3065 better, however there is a choice there I suppose.

item 3091 is OK But its not THE BEST.

From my experience as an Irelia main, I'd say jax. He just straight outscales her late game. (Although It could honestly come down to who stuns who first losing, since the other would just burst them). If it's midgame, 3-4 items Irelia would win though.

Also, for optimal builds, I'd give Randuins to Jax and Spirit visage to Irelia. She benefits from the increased healing more than jax does.
