Why is league so obviously rigged? You have pro players getting free shit while the rest of us have to suffer through an intense grind-fest. Runes and rune pages should be free so everyone can play EQUALLY. Also, why is it that a team with more skins is likely to win? I realize that none of you will actually question any of this because you're so brainwashed that you yell toxic at anything and everything pointing out the many MANY flaws that League of Legends has, but someone has to keep the dialogue open.

Skins winning games is a joke the community throws around. Faker doesn't use skins, so if it was a real thing his team would be at a disadvantage.

Pro players didn't become pro players without going through a bigger grind fest than you or I. They've earned the champions and rune pages on their own, any "free content" doesn't really matter at that point.

You can argue Runes should be free, I don't care much one way or the other on that one.

So, you're fine with favoritism towards pro players? Full account unlocks for them should NOT be possible and they should earn their way for each and every account they make just like the rest of us. Most Pro players ahve someone on the inside of the scene that gets them in so you're excuse of them "grinding" is not valid.

What is the problem exactly though? It doesn't give them any advantage I mean if your playing in challenger / master with no runes or anything then your about 100x better than any pro out there

sounds like you don't feel any of the pros who use League winnings as a large portion of their income haven't put in the long hard hours to make sure they are the best of the best and don't deserve some kind of reward for their hard work and sacrifice to the game?

Why dont you complain about Yasuo like a normal person ? In 3 years of playing i did not see anyone complain about runes.We all have to grind for it.

Most Pro players ahve someone on the inside of the scene that gets them in so you're excuse of them "grinding" is not valid.

Name one pro player that doesn't have 20 rune pages and all champions unlocked on their main account (the one they had before they got an unlocked account). Someone on the inside may help them get selected for a team, but it wouldn't help them get the IP they need to get all the rest.

I've never been a "gotta catch em all!" guy where League's concerned. I still don't own most of the 450 IP champions. Someone gets an account with everything unlocked... OK? That doesn't change anything for me. It's not like them owning every champion is going to stop me spamming Xerath in ranked, or change anything really.

This post sounds a lot like you're trying to make a mountain out of an ant hill.

I've spoken with support about this, when they ask for an account they get EVERYTHING unlocked INCLUDING RUNES. How is this not an unfair advantage to the average player? What if you're climbing on a fairly new account and you run into one of these players? stop trying to pretend that this is ok, because it isnt. Runes should be free for everyone and Pro players should grind like everyone else.

Honestly, it'd be no different than running into any other Plat+ smurf.

A full page of Tier 2 runes costs 30 IP, so you can get it in a single game. If you go AP, you get 19.83 AP from Glyphs and Quints. Tier 3 runes get you 25.56 AP. 6 AP isn't going to make or break you, as it will result in maybe 1 extra damage dealt per spell.

A pro player would beat a newly 30 account with a level 1 account using the free rotation champions. It's not what they're given, it's how they use it that would make the match up unfair.

I think it makes all the difference. I'm sure that you've had the situation where you've failed to kill an enemy and they get away with a sliver of health. Imagine if you're playing as a Riven or Panth or something that needs an early game advantage and you die because you couldnt get the advantage tier 3 runes provide. You really shouldnt have to break your back in order to level the playing field against someone who gets their accounts unlocked for free. Rune pages are also another issue here, you need several to cover just about every type of champion you can play, which is yet another cost that players have to put up with. Pro players have an unfair advantage, and it needs to be corrected.

I've gotten away with a sliver of health when my opponent had Tier 3 runes too. You miscalculate or you waited 1 second too long before going all in and they regenerated just enough health, it could happen regardless of runes.

If rune pages mattered enough to you, you'd save up for them, likely buying several during 2-for-1 sales.

Pro players have an unfair advantage, and it needs to be corrected.

Unfair advantage over whom? They're going to play their placements, out CSing, out microing, and out macroing any Bronze/Silver player they come across, and the Gold+ players have enough runes, rune pages, and champions for it to not be a factor there either.

A complaint about smurfs or matchmaking I could understand, but you're over emphasizing Tier 2 vs Tier 3 runes by a long shot.

I honestly can't believe you don't see how garbage it really is for pro players to get a free pass when it comes to one of the most important parts of the game. A bronzie-Silver player should be able to compete on a level playing field with EVERYONE, pro or not. It's kind of like David and Goliath really, but instead of giving David stones to sling you give him dirt clods instead, match-up is in Goliath's favor even when David has stones but dirt clods make it near impossible. Everyone should be playing on an even field, regardless if they're pro or not, and free accounts with everything unlocked ruins that.

Every player is on equal footing on their main account. They gain XP the same, they gain IP the same, they get champions the same, etc. Every pro player had as much access to Tier 3 runes and rune pages when they hit 30 as I did when I hit 30.

Second accounts are always imbalanced in comparison. A player on a second account will not waste IP on champions they don't like, saving that IP for runes and rune pages. They already have an advantage, and are far more prevalent than the 50 or so unlocked accounts that exist.

Multiple pages/rune combos allows you to play a wider variety of champions at their optimum, if you get countered or have your champ banned you really cant do anything to revert it. A new account gets 2 rune pages, you tell me if thats enough for all champs currently in the game. Pro players have an unfair advantage, accept it.

My main account is on the exact same footing as the pros main account - both started with 2 rune pages, no champions, and had to earn everything.

My second account is on the exact same footing as the pros unlocked account - access to everything I could want without cost to me.

There are more people with accounts like my second account than there are pros with unlocked accounts. They're in various states of "eh, don't care, don't have a rune page for that set up, I'm playing it anyway", yet if they mattered as much as you say they'd all have every page perfectly calibrated for specific champions. It's called the PBE, and it's a prime example that having everything unlocked doesn't magically make you perform any better at the game.

No, it allows you to play champions with slightly changed base stats. Optimum requires much more work to get to.

Ask any pro player who actively climbs on the free accounts they have and they'll tell you which champs can tackle solo q better than others. They'll also have runes/pages set up for those champs based on what they're facing in lane. This is an unfair advantage compared to a player that has 2 rune pages a finite champ pool and limited rune selection. Its quite impossible to defend Riot regarding their favoritism towards pro players and their money grabbing scheme towards the average player. Runes should be free for all, as well as pages in which to put them in.

Riot has said time and again Runes were kind of meant as a type of progression, but have recently said they do agree it has not turned out as they planned so there will be changes starting sometime in Season 7.
Skins don't actually get wins, but it does help with a mental factor in each match. For example, if you see someone using a Victorious Skin, then you will see that player as having been to the top before and spent more time playing and honing their skills then you. Thus you might change how you approach your match up against them. Maybe you play a little more defensively, only going for kills when you have an extra teammate ganking you to make sure the Victorious user is killed or at least shoved out of lane so you can farm. While on the other side you might fight a person who is playing a champion that is on free rotation that week and isn't using a skin. That might mean this is their first time with the champ or at least they don't have very much experience with that champ. In this situation you might play a little more aggressively then you normal might play.
