When to pick Sejuani over Nunu and vice versa?

I play Nunu but I would like to add Sejuani to my pool. Before I learn the champ I need to know if it really adds anything since I am already playing Nunu.

#Nunu

Pros:

  • Superior Objective Control
  • Better pre-6 ganks due to his snowball potential lane ganks, and his E slow + root
  • Better counter jungle potential
  • more sustain in teamfights
  • Isn't comp reliant

Cons:

  • easily countered by high mobility targets
  • Struggles against hard CC comps
  • ultimate can be dodged very easily and be almost non-existant
  • Sucks when behind since majority of his impact comes from early game dominance setting the opponent so behind they can't kill him later.

#Sej

Pros:

  • Better front line
  • Better late game engage tool
  • Better post-6 ganks due to R
  • way harder to kill due to passive
  • Isn't affected much by CC and would rather facetank it for the team

Cons:

  • Way more comp reliant due to 4 hit melee mechanic
  • Ganks are weaker early since her only gapcloser is Q and she needs to land 2 W procs and 2 autos to get a very short root.
  • Lane ganks aren't as effective unless they're from brush
  • More prone to being counter jungled, especially vertical jungled since her clears aren't that fast and she can't really punish the enemy for doing cross map clears.

Pick nunu when you want to be more snowbally (heh) and aggressive while being a tank, pick sej if you're playing primarily for late game team fights and peeling your team.

Got a lot of Melee? Sejuani. Don’t? Nunu.

I dont think there really is a reason to play nunu over sejuani unless you just like the champion
