Okay so I have a 20 minute lower priority 5 game queue and I don't wanna wait 20 minutes. I share my computer with my family and I always let them on when they ask but I got the 20 minute penalty just because I had to leave the game to let someone in my family on for reasons of their own. I don't want to tell them to hold on for almost a 30 minute game. Even I do tell them that I finished and let them on they get mad at me just because I didn't let them on 30 minutes ago.

It's a crappy situation, but you're still acountable for being able to remain in your game. IF you aren't absolutely positive you can play the entirety of a match, it's best to not just play. The only thing you can ask is for the consideration and understanding of your family.
