Does League purposely make you lose games?

I was climbing, from bronze 1 to silver 3, into my promos. I was doing pretty well in all of my games, when all of a sudden I got this team: Garen: 4/7/0 Nunu(me): 1/3/2 Fizz: 2/10/2 Draven: 0/13/5 Alistar: 1/8/2

Not saying anyone on the team was inting (although draven's match history was questionable and he was mr7) but in certain games do you purposely get placed with bad teams? Last promo game by the way. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm not trying to cry, just asking a question.

Yes. they do. Promos are generally always seeding in team arrangements that disadvantage you and Riot moderators and Devs have admitted they do this, "because they want to ensure you are ready for your next rank."

You can still win by a fluke, but you won't have an easy promo game.

No matter how good you are you have to accept that you will lose some games because you're only 1/5 of your team. If they're all doing poorly it is extremely hard to win on anything but a hypercarry, and even then you can still lose.

If you want to win the most games I recommend getting really good at champs that are good all game but can carry late, like Jax for example. If you're a very good Jax you're going to win the vast majority of your games. Yi and Kindred are also good.

they don't purposely try and make you lose, but they do slightly tilt it in the enemys favor (to prove your ready for your next rank) for promos.

but don't worry, the whole "they force 50% winrates" thing is complete bologna

I second this post since I lost 5 diamond promos so far this season.
