Teemo's hidden buff???

OK recently i have was playing Renekton and had to vs a Teemo, now i have faced Teemo countless times and the match up is easy as pie, however after patch 5.24 for some odd reason Teemo's blind now stops Renekton from stunning him? i thought it was a bug or glitch for just one instand but it happened everytime i did the classic ew>aa>qq>aa>e combo. now renektons stun shouldnt be stopped by teemos blind its a skill not a auto attack. i understand how before when i faced teemo my stun wouldnt deal dmg but i was fine with it because i had that stun to stop any counter harass but now i cant even stun the furry little bundle of evil. riot is this a bug or a unmentioned buff he just got. if the stun is based off of you autoing him, it now doesnt trigger

^ And not just Rene, it was updated for the whole roster in regards to any situation in which modified AA's were supposed to be negated or avoided. It was in the patch notes.

the thing is it a added effect off your w it isn't based on your auto attack, and prior to this recent patch it would always stun just the damage would be negated.

I don't know what they changed in the patch, but my reading of the skill seems to indicate the W is based on his auto-attack. "Renekton's next attack gains 50 bonus range and swings twice, dealing 5 / 15 / 25 / 35 / 45 (+0.75 per attack damage) damage per hit (applies on hit effects) and stunning his target for 0.75 seconds. If Renekton attacks an enemy champion, he gains 10 Fury."

The 'next attack' is the auto-attack.

This was the correction of that error by Riot. Many champions had similar instances in which the secondary effects of a modified aa would still function while the primary aa effects were negated.

i can confirm renektons stun was never effected by his blind only the damage that came from it.

but the wording for his w is yes his next auto will do the damage specified , but the word "and" is what separates the skill from being just based on the auto attack alone. how Im interpreting it yes the next auto will be empowered but the stun isn't based off it and if its true then why can Leona still stun teemo with her q? shouldn't her stun miss ? but then again its just something that happened out of nowhere, like i said before this patch his blind never stopped cc effect based off autos just the damage the autos would have dealt

It states, "Renekton's next attack gains 50 bonus range and swings twice, dealing 5 / 15 / 25 / 35 / 45 (+0.75 per attack damage) damage per hit (applies on hit effects) and stunning his target for 0.75 seconds. If Renekton attacks an enemy champion, he gains 10 Fury." This means that Renekton's next attack (his auto attack) swings twice, dealing X amount of damage and stunning his target. Per the construction of the sentence, both the damage and the stun relate back to his attack. I don't think the sentence is ambiguous and I can't see how your interpretation makes sense given the sentence's structure.

They actually posted something about this, I think in the patch notes, but Im not sure. They have been adding "clarity" to disables such as blind, which teemo obviously has. Blinds, evade, etc that negate or otherwise stop auto attacks now also stop the on hit effects of those attacks.

Renekton's W is 2 (or 3 if empowered) auto attacks with an on hit stun effect.

I play Renekton quite a bit, and I still have no problem with Teemo outside of him just being Teemo. You just have to adjust your attack pattern a bit. Bait out the blind then stun the furry devil. It takes a bit of getting used to, but you can do it.
