Once again we mourn the only event that 95% of the population chain queues.

Meanwhile ARAM sits at dominion play levels and isn't even fun anymore. (People rage about strategy)

I have to agree. Going from a 15 second queue time to a 1:30+ queue time is surprisingly frustrating.

I quit playing LoL some time ago--basically, my playtimes since URF 2014 have revolved around... well, URF. But this year they basically took it away. We've had, what, 7-10 days of URF at this point? I missed some of those because I don't check the news on this site obsessively.

The last time I spent money on this game was URF 2014. I had spent hundreds of dollars, but vowed not to spend another penny until they make URF permanent.

Bottom line is, by choosing to push LoL further into the "serious e-sportz" brand, they shoved it a little too far into its own niche for my tastes. I'd have rather seen the game go in the other direction. As a result, I play much less.

This weekend, when I logged in for URF, my formerly-populated friends list was empty except for 2 people. All weekend. If LoL isn't losing its audience, I would be surprised. (I'm sure a fanboy has heard the summons and is on his way to quote some invented numbers to contradict me... oh no! Help!)
