Because the question is "Who were these games against"?
Who you were against were teams of people who are Bronze 5. People with a negative win rate in Bronze 5. Some of these players would be Bronze 6 or lower if such ranks existed.
And you are not saying that you should be given an extra ten or twenty points to your rating, but you are suggesting that you should instantly be moved to a rating that is hundreds of points higher than the people you won matches against.

It feels like shit, I just think maybe people who don't have a chance of getting above B5 just start B5 without placements
But i get why it happens.
Because you're bad. And no, 10 lucky wins in a row shouldn't just push you to the next rank. Get better and earn it.
