TRACKING SCRIPTERS

Scripters have really been running rampant lately, and there does not seem to be any way of tracking abusers as of now.

Why not consider adding a "Scripter" option to the reporting function at the end of the game? If a player hits a certain number of "Scripter" reports, GM could investigate it or ban the player. It would be much easier to track such players as compared to typing in the comment box.

Although I like the idea I don't think it can work. Anytime someone loses they'll report scripter. The real solution is what RIOT is already working on which is an in game cheat detection algorithm. It was announced not long ago and the punishment will be a permaban.

I'm not a great player but I know when I see a scripter. Today for the first time I'm 100% the player is a scripter. fulmatou is his name and he was ulting me as Xerath in the fog of war while I was going left right left. My movement speed was increased as I was Quinn in Valor form. The first time it happened I figured he was lucky. The second and 3rd time became really obvious. This player has horrible positioning and an all around horrible player but his skill shots were dead on.

I know some will say "cry cry cry" but I'm not one to complain about losing a game. I've never rage quit and losing is just part of the game to me. What I don't like is not being offered a fair opportunity to win/lose.

It's not there because butthurt people would make too many false reports without any proof.

If you want to report a scripter, contact RITO support with a video recording. Simple as that.

I once had an Ahri who was scripting in one of my games. Now that I think about it, I was just bad.
