i spent a lot of time learning to orb walk and attack move and now this champ that has orb walking built in comes out not sure how this will affect the lower elo style of play this champ will op in low elo for a long time due to that passive.kite for dayz

but her ult wont be so easy to master not sure how flinging a teammate at the enemy would work without proper coordination let me know that you think and how will kalista impact league i think he will be the new lucian who will have to get adjusted a lot due to his lane power. please do leave me any thoughts u have on the matter

Considering that the Orb Walking jump is her ONLY form of mobility and her CC consists of a situational slow (person needs to have been auto'd by her) and a situational AoE knock up (her ally needs to be there and properly land it) she will probably have an abysmal Winrate during her first few days. When people learn how to use her, then we start crying. Kinda like Gnar.

You mean in low ELO where teamwork is mostly nonexistant? I kinda doubt it.

Yeah, it'll take a few days for people to learn her. We'll probably see a few "Kalista trash" threads, then one day a few "OMG KALISTA OP" threads will pop up and then some pro or popular streamer will preform well with her and the board will be filled with people crying for nerfs.

Your logic is horrendous. If low elo can play her well then the people who are actually good at the game will be gods with her.

Having played the character a lot already on PBE, she's actually MORE mechanically intensive and requires good decision making and positioning to make real use of her passive. Plus she loses DPS if she continually auto + dashes since there is a delay. Clicking to auto them then picking a dash location then clicking them again takes a lot of mouse movement that I don't think low elo players will have good control of.

In lower elo the coordination between her and her lane mate will be rather weak most of the time so if anything she will likely be underpowered at that level of play.
