Each player can place one control ward on the map. Vision is maximized when all 5 membres have done so. However in late game when we are 6-slotted and our wards have been killed, how are we supposed to get control wards? The only option is to sell an important item, losing its benefit and a lot of gold.
SrbLud1 votesIf I'm the support I usually sell my Sightstone if there is a need for control wards. There is more than enough wards and sweepers going around.
Usually you don't need them that late unless maybe for baron or drake. Everyone is at their full builds and usually sticks together to try and pick a fight.

Ye but greater availability adds more counter play to camouflage and stealth. It is indirectly what made rengar feel unhealthy in situations, but at the same time adding control trinkets would kill evelyn
Mizuki Zahra1 votesmy last game as ashe support I placed around 38 wards our rengar placed 16 ish he had the jungle vision item since corki wasn't warding at all lol but the control wards yes a slot would be nice that or opt out of trinket to buy control ward
inplane1 votesWould love a Control Ward slot. In fact, where are ward slots in general. That stuff should've been implemented two seasons ago. I'm tired of teammates not buying wards because "muh damage items" and when six items come around they're still going to say "muh damage items".
flomper1 votesYes!! The nerfs to vision have been so stupid. They literally made rengars stealth a problem by removing pinks from the ward slot, they created new problems by removing something that no one was complaining about.
