Removal of Devourer was a big hit since Bloodrazor isn't as effective with many kits. Not to mention the spike in MR items but reduction in MRes universally, puts us in an incredible tough position against the mage meta. All the ADC reworks giving them more mobility, and control also forces us into item builds just to survive gap-closing, even if those items aren't really effective cause they don't scale with our kit.

Its pretty much a pick 2 tanks (or 1 tank/1 OT) in top/jungle/support, mage hypercarry in mid/jungle, ad hypercarry in mid/jungle/bot, and control mage in top/support/mid. Bruisers are just a pick because you, as a player, like that style - but they aren't effective whatsoever in the meta whereby you either get fed to get the levels and item spikes to carry the game OR you fall behind and stay behind OR you are delegated to split-pushing.

Its not that bruisers can't be played, but the investment is incredibly steep in comparison to picking a parallel control mage, or tanky characters. I initially thought it was just me and a l2p issue, but the above statistics only looking at plat+ rank pretty much identify similarly.
