Scarra was complaining about the damage in this game two years ago. All the streamers look depressed and couldn't wait to stop streaming League when TFT came out. Everyone says "wow that's a lot of damage" when champs like Zed don't even have to go in to take most of your lifebar.

league used to be a strategic, micro oriented game... I cannot for the life of me understand why Riot took their intellectual property and turned it into this, whatever this is. Everyone is constantly shocked- and not in a good way- about how much damage there is...

Riot, please stop being stubborn and reduce damage.

When tahm kench was literally forced into competitive play because other supports didn't have the shield power or healing to defend their adcs against instant burst....

Season 7 , tahm kench was considered "useless" by pros.

We have come a long way.

Even funnier, riot has no intentions of getting rid of the oneshot meta, otherwise they would have worked towards getting rid of it instead of repeatedly gutting something that was not only fair and balanced, but was even considered weak when there wasn't a burst meta (tahm kench ally W).

Meta? With how long I've been hearing about the infamous "One Shot Meta", it feels more like an Era to me.

Pro play is what kills the balance.

Because of pro play Riot does not balance, they manipulate the meta into what they think its exciting for pro play.

This is why we have completely random changes buffs and nerfs (random from our perspective) because in our minds a champion that is weak should be buffed while a champion that is too strong should be nerfed but for Riot as long as it benefits their vision of pro play its fine.

(IE: K6 buffed despite being in a good spot, Riven not nerfed because she isn't a problem in pro play. Tahm Kench nerfed because hes picked too much in pro play and isn't "exciting" to watch but Kaisa is in every game along with Ezreal and Xayah yet no nerfs are in sight)

The "balance team" does not balance, they merely try to mold the meta according to the needs of pro play.

I don't get posts like these. They always try to act like damage is just no a problem, and one shotting is some kind of new thing. News flash, it isn't. They didn't make doing more damage easy, they made tanks less usefull.

It still is. Don't tell me that a low ranked player like you can get to Challenger because of walking in lane and oneshotting everyone because "dAmAge lOl"
