The reason I'm creating this discussion about mages is because I think they're the most over power class in the game.
** But the problem is not so much in the mages, but rather in items**. I think Riot games should consider nerf mage items.
So let's look at some of them.

If you bring statistical information to back up your claim i would of just added counter points or agreed with it if there were none.
If you however says: Mages items are OP, lists items, state no reason reason why with not staticial information or even a thesis then yes i am going to think you watch hashinshin because he does the same thing.

Mages are OP because of Items. I think these items are bad, i think these items are less bad but still kinda bad.
Malix Farwin2 votesPeople who play Mages know what the problem with mages items are and its not that they are "a bit overtuned" its that the build path is stale. Depending on what mage you play you build the same items no matter what. If you are lucky you can choose between 
or but other than that your mage character is building the same stuff. Even with that in mind its not like Mages are dominating the mid lane. You have 2 type of mages ones that can perform well in Mid(where they are suppose to be and not by some crazy amount outside of Annie who is suppose to have a high average WR bcz she is an easy champion) and those who are forced into support. You see a lot more mages because there are mage supports and like only one assassin support.
Edit: Ironly the little that i did just say was more thought out than the post the OP made which is why i think he watches hashinshin.

Well i mean if you are going to attack a whole archtype or call it OP you would think the bare minimum would be to explain why. Saying because of items isn't an explanation its a talking point hashinshin says all the time without actually explaining why. Hince why every time you get these posts they go up to the point Hashinshin does.
SunnyAfterMath1 votesI'm on the fence, I think mage items are pretty strong and could use some updates. Make them more dynamic for the mage player base (stale builds are why I quit mage a long time ago) and tune them down a notch. For fun, I like to watch hashinshin as I find it funny when he rants and gets angry, but more importantly, I noticed he does explain a lot of the time why he thinks the mage items cause too much of an impact. He potentially goes into way to much detail, as he normally pulls numbers and runs some (albeit very rushed and under calculated) math to attempt to prove his point. Not saying your initial statement was wrong, I agree that you should not make a post without at least explaining your thought process, just that Hashinshin usually does explain his thoughts, sometimes I think he makes sense, sometimes not.
