So is Ryze being changed during the Mage update and could we get a bit more info?

A Blue Peanut Head main here wondering if Ryze will be changed in the Mage updates rather than Preseason as Riot Repetoir mentioned he might after Worlds. Also wondering if there's any small details you could give on what your next idea is for Ryze as in the state he's currently in beginners are not performing well, his red light green gameplay seems to be unfun to lane against and players that have played a lot of Ryze (like myself) are easily stomping games from so much practise. (I have a 114.2k mastery on him) I am welcome for any new changes as long as they at least carry the name "The Rogue Mage" which in my opinion will always be a mage that can run around the map and be a 1v1 fighter mage.
