In Game Voice Chat

Seeing how recently the game is becoming way more team oriented then it ever was, with the weaker towers, the importance of the new dragons, the Rift Herald, even the nerfs to the QSS making ADC's have to relay more on their team for peel to be able to dish out damage, I believe dynamic queue players currently hold too big of an advantage to solo players because of the communication via third party programs. While I do understand how access to in game voice chat to every player could cause some issues with the more toxic players, perhaps that could be mitigated with a mute option and some sort of voice chat restriction to players who have been reported for harassment repeatedly (example: only able to use the voice chat command for about 10 seconds every few minutes to be able to give only game relevant information - aka something like the chat restriction that currently exists). I would at least like to see this be tested on the PBE server, and if it doesn't seem to be working out maybe try it only in higher ELOs where team communication really does mean all that much more.

Thanks to anyone who took time out of their day to read this, this was just me throwing in my two cents on the topic, see you guys on the Rift and have a wonderful day !

Leaving the toxicity problem aside(even tho is a very serious one) - this could work in NA. But in multilingual servers like EUW or EUNE it wont help much i feel.

The problem with VoIP chat restrictions is, your going to have a hard time actually regulating it. The current chat system could be filtered by a program to look for profanity, or other key words. With a VoIP program, You would basically have to translate the data from audio to plain text. And voice programs like that won't be completely accurate, especially when you have several players talking at once.

It would take too long, to go though a games in game voice chat, before making a decision to ban a person, and chances are, Riot, isn't going to simply let the report system alone, to determine toxicity.
