Yasuos a bit to much

I'm not sure if it is just me or what but at times I find him to have way to many tools to work with. why does one champion get a shield and a wall that blocks all projectiles for its entire length for defense. then for damage he gets a passive that doubles crit chance. how is that even fair? and then he gets a dash on a very small cool down I know its not that big and he needs a target to go to but even then with all of his other tools it seams like its way to much for him. plus his ult at armor pen to it also cause a 100% crit chance wasn't strong enough on its own. I know he's been nerfed a lot but I still think he has to much going for him still that make it super hard for other champions to do anything to him really especially if he gets ahead. but oh well riot will b the ones to judge if he's to strong or to weak or just right sort of thing but would love to hear some other opinions on this other then my own to know if its just me that thinks this or others have the same thought as well.

wrong section first off 2nd the only thing "OP" is him having 2 passives while others have a shitty useless "passive" he shouldn't have the shield, only his crit chance passive

sorry first time posting and thought gameplay and balancing would be fine since I'm talking about him and that's a interesting perspective I personally just think he has to much going for him even after the nerfs since there seams to be very little punishment for him in the end with what he does this is from playing against him and seeing friends and strangers play against him as well.

Oh brother. As a melee ADC, he mechanically needs both. Out of all of the MADC's personally I think Yasuo is in the best place.

Agree. Would rather fight Yasuo over Fiora or Yi. Not because he's weaker: he's just less annoying

yeah that's kinda what I was thinking was the problem that he needs like two items then he crits all the time seams a tad much for once champions like remove that or lessen it maybe so its not a half crit to him cause doubling adds to much power to fast to him I feel

You obviously have no understanding of how difficult it is so play as a successful yasuo... also *too. Please play a champion for yourself before judging how good they are

Pulling the bronze 5 card? Ive been around since I'm pretty sure early s4, maybe late s3. Also I'm not blaming it on my team at all. I simply was not prepared as a player to go into ranked. That is that. My brother kinda talked me into it and I was like "Ok fine whatever ill give it a shot". I never blame my teammates for a loss (unless we've got a troll that goes 0/25, then i think i have a bit of room to speak). It is a team as a whole that does winning or losing, and i am part of that team. Also sure, ill 1v1 you if you want. I love yasuo mirror lane, most fun I've ever had playing. Also I just looked at some of your match history xD Who the fuck builds item 3707 on shyvana?! XD Normally you used to build item 3710 and you still can, but mostly now you want to go item 3709. I played shyvana since i first got on league (she was my first big buy, yasuo was the second)

I played yasuo thank you very much when he first came out and after they kinda nerfed him down I didn't come onto the boards to complain about something I've never played as myself

Pretty common opinion around the boards.

why does one champion get a shield and a wall that blocks all projectiles for its entire length for defense.

Because he doesn't get resistances, untargetability or strong innate defenses to survive, and he needs a means to survive combat.

Wind Wall is unable to block half of the ranged spells in League--yes, I went through the entire roster, looked at each champion's spells, compared all the spells that are longer than 300 range--and is completely useless against opponents that don't use range in the first place. It's nice when it can block them, but it can't stop people from walking around/past it.

His shield lasts 1 second, and doesn't even block 100 damage before level 7. It's bad enough against direct assault, and even worse against DoT effects. It's strong when people try to front-load damage against Yasuo, but it's a minimal defense bonus. Considering he can't really buy any defensive items for the first two slots, aside from a minor bonus on boots, it's not an absurdly powerful defense tool.

then for damage he gets a passive that doubles crit chance. how is that even fair?

This is the one that people always, always misunderstand. Yes, it doubles how much Crit Chance he gains from items/runes. It also reduces his damage dealt when he crits. This is not the same as reduced Crit Damage; Crit Damage is a stat, while damage dealt by a crit is a value. If Yasuo crits with 100 AD, he deals 180 damage instead of 200; it's effectively -20% Crit Damage, or -25% when he has Infinity Edge.

That doesn't sound like much of a difference, but it actually makes his DPS lower than Master Yi or Tryndamere by the time they have 3 offensive items (an average game grants the player about 11000 gold, enough to buy 3 completed items and boots, so I figured that was a fair measure). His late-game scaling is actually pretty weak compared to all the other melee carries.

and then he gets a dash on a very small cool down I know its not that big and he needs a target to go to but even then with all of his other tools it seams like its way to much for him.

He needs mobility. He's a melee assassin. If he had no mobility, he would not be functional.

His E mobility is on the same level as Riven's mobility, except he needs targets. And I honestly don't see what's wrong with him having that dash, or how it's "too much."

plus his ult at armor pen to it also cause a 100% crit chance wasn't strong enough on its own.

The Armor Pen only affects Bonus armor; also, no, the 100% Crit Chance with 2 items wasn't strong enough on its own. I've done the math, and his DPS is still only comparable to Master Yi, not better than him (Tryndamere has higher DPS, but doesn't bypass defenses, so against tanky targets. Yasuo is slightly better).

Right now, Yasuo's actually a bit under average in strength. The reason why is because his damage output is heavily based on a mechanic that Riot needs to rework soon (not Soon™).

I am referring to Crit Chance, which causes the same problems that Dodge Chance had, but with the added bonus of an entire archetype relying on the stat in order to function (Marksmen). So they can't just remove it like with Dodge Chance, but they need to change it to something not based on RNG.

Not OP, just another pubstomper like Kat, Yi and Trybdamere are/were.
