Fizz, the new jungler?

okay, so, since the start of the previous patch 4.18, I've seen a couple of fizz who plays jungle, even in ranked games, I just don't understand how fizz can jungle.

Fizz has been played by people in jungle since he came out. His passive and W are great for farming jungle and he's a fast jungler as well. Nothing new about it...he's just not a top 2 tier jungler...so you don't see him a whole lot.

I pretty much only jungle fizz now. He has fast clear once you get your jungle item and his ganks at level 3 are extremely powerful. To maximize his potential, I recommend utilizing lane ganks, but river ganks work well too if you know they didn't ward. His W with red buff's burn does a deceptively high amount of DOT. I start with machete, pots, and take W first, E second, Q at level 3 if im ready to gank, otherwise E again, and max E always. Of course, I play AP fizz in the jungle. I tried AD jungle fizz once and felt strong early-mid, but fell off hard late. If you wanna try it I suggest Spirit of Spectral Wraith, boots one, Zhonyas, boots 2, then lich bane, void staff or whatever fits the situation. However, you must gank effectively in order to help your team win. Fizz doesn't bring much CC or peel like most junglers, so you have to feed your teammates and yourself.

Passive - AA damage reduction per hit helps a lot against wolves and wraith and small lizards W passive - free 20 dps at level one on anything you find. Activate for more DPS. Gap closers - if you began with Q, you can land E for the slow. If you can't begin with Q, E->Q can keep people in place in conjuncture with red buff. Damage isn't that bad since W + Red is strong enough at early levels.
