Azir soldier interaction with Gangplank Barrels.

The patch that disabled Azir's ability to hit wards with his W has made it so that Gangplank barrels cannot be hit with his W as well. If an Azir soldier is within range of a Gangplank barrel it will allow an auto attack to the barrel but not destroy it. The problem is if Azir himself is in range to destroy a barrel he cannot attack it if the Soldier is still in range of the barrel. Can you change this in the next patch so Azir can auto attack the barrel and have his Soldier not interact with the barrels at all?
