I hate to be that guy but when I get ban privilege I am banning Aurelion Sol. I am not dealing with people claiming to be main Sol. I am not dealing with you guys picking him no matter what position you get. Maybe he is a good support. Maybe he is a good top. Maybe he is a good jungler. But there is no way for you to know that 2 days into his release. Stop wasting my time and everyone else on your team's time.

I don't mind if normals because draft practice is always needed. But if I see you picking Sol in ranked and claiming to be really good...you won't be able to play him. Because I'm wasting my ban for Zed and banning Sol.

I can understand ranked, but a lot of people want to try and learn him now. Normals are commonly used to try champions out for the first time since it has that human element that bots lack.
