This Ranking System Is Broken For Low Elo

So the new season has just begun and I was hyped af for it. I jump into a couple of games with my Season 7 silver friend and we win 3 games. I later start to play with my other friend who was bronze last season..... and we lost a couple of games. I thought it was just regular old bronze and I popped into another game. My friend and I (I was jg and he was adc) start to dominate. He is 5/0 and I was around 12/1. The rest of our team is hard feeding and we thought we could carry. I was wrong> I got a solo quad kill, but my whole team dies to this one fed nasus that I shut down 3 times before. To make a long story short we lost the game. Now you may say I should of placed more pressure around the map, so we could get the most objectives and everything. I did just that I had the highest dmg to objectives and got all the objectives I could but I still couldnt win. From my prospective, this happens to me every time I play with my bronze friend. I gank every lane get them ahead and we lose cause my mid, top, and support would just feed. I just rlly believe that riot shouldnt make the ranking system so hard that I would have to be at least platinum level to just climb my friend outta bronze.

to make it clear u are vsing a nasus!!!! it a ticking timebomb due to his scaling thus u must end it quickly else nasus will pretty much one shot u guys

btw this season is pretty much all bout late game scaling champ....... and due to low elo dont know how to pick against those comp u will see sometimes dumb comp that can't win game ... it not ur fault that u manage to get advantage but still lose .... it all bout whether ur team know how to finish game quick due to the enemy comp being better at late game ....

or u guys manage to get a vayne that can one shot ppl xd to win

Bruh i get you, its just that you can only do soo much once the nasus gets that fucking 1K stacks XDD. Like I pressure everywhere but i cant 1v5. I do agree that late game champs are soo much more stronger this season, but i can only do so much. Thank you for ur addition to the discussion.

What makes you believe that teammates feeding is only a low elo problem?

LMFAO, I mean feeding isnt the problem. Its the feeders that just dont know how to get carried. Once you reach higher the players start to become more aware of wtf they r doing and they start to play with the team. This makes it 100 times better for the person carrying. This is just from my observations in recent games and thanks for your input into the discussion.

The ranking system isn't supposed to be easy to advance in. You will need to grind out games over and over to climb out of whatever elo you are in.

It took me about 210-220 games in season 5 to climb from silver 5 to gold 5. I will probably take more than 300 games to get to plat this season (and I'm aiming for diamond, so gotta get the games in).

Bronze is a sh!thole (sorry to all of you guys who are stuck in there, I don't want to sound like an ass here), you either grind out those games and slowly crawl into mid-silver or you're gonna remain in that elo. And it's not getting better the higher you go. Bad players just get rarer and rarer, but that doesn't mean there is no feeding in the higher ranks.

Like i understand what you mean. I did the climb before from bronze played over 100 games down there and then i didnt hav the time to get to gold. But, I just feel like its gotten worse. For some reason, Ive been seeing this trend, league has been placing unranked players right into slver 5 and bronze 1. I understand that its so they dont hav to deal with the straight garbage which resides in b5, but still. A large majority of those unranked players r garbage cause they dont hav the experience. So, i feel like its kinda unfair for us low silver and high bronze players would hav to nurture and carry these people even when they dont deserve it. But thanks for your opinion, it meant a lot to hear something reasonable. :)

Assuming you aren't a feeder or afk'er that means the other team has a higher possibility of having one of those then your team which gives you an inherent advantage technically
