As a dedicated Zed main, for the first time in near 1k games, I feel he's weak.

EDIT I'm not asking for straight Zed buffs, I'm asking for frustration changes as well as fluidity changes. No damage increase, actually a damage decrease. Really, I'm asking for nerfs in exchange for more fluid, smooth Zed gameplay.

Now don't get your panties all riled up, I understand he can't be buffed in his current state.

Let me first start by saying this, Zed is extremely unfun to play against, I get that. People don't like playing against him, and I entirely understand why. But I have a few proposed Zed changes that will make him feel more fluent to play as well as less frustrating

  1. There was a PBE change for Zed not too long ago that cut his flat ratio on his Death Mark (R) to .5 instead of 1 but increased the damage returned from the damage Zed did. I felt this was a great change as it allowed ADCs to not get nearly one shot just from R+E late game but didn't really affect good Zeds because they would be able to R at the right time and land the damage he needs for the R to finish the job. This will lower the frustration of playing against him greatly in my opinion and I completely feel this is fair. However, along with this change, I'd like to see the R snap back delay removed entirely from the .5 seconds it is now. This will bring back some of the fluidity of Zed before his last series of nerfs.

  2. Again, Zed's fluidity was nerfed when they made it so Zed's shadow had to completely appear to be able to throw it's Q. Now I understand why this change was made and it makes it much more fair to lane against him, but this has made his W+Q feel a lot more clunky in my opinion and it really sucks to play with now. My proposed change is as Zed's W rank is leveled, slowly reduce the delay up until the final rank where the W+Q delay nerf is non existent. This will not affect Zed's laning frustration but also make him feel more fluent and smooth to play come late game. Q base damage nerfs can go along with this if need be.

That concludes that. So what are your guy's thoughts?

lol don't get your feelings hurt by the people downvoting this! They are just people who hate Zed and don't even realize that you understand them. Basically they didn't actually read your article. But I think its good! Nice work.

He should leave a shadow on one side of the target then show up on the side, rather than leaving one behind.

If you make that change, you're weakening his escape potential and you can buff his ult a little.

I just want his W cooldown reduced. Is 24 seconds really necessary?

what if zed shadow traveled slowly from W. until a max range. whenever he hits W. the show appears at that point. it might need larger adjustment to his kit to accommodate with that i guess.
