Just tell me if you think this is healthy matchmaking

You're on promos and you get matched against this Ekko and Heimer. Both 31 level accounts, silver 1 with 100% wr 10/10 placements. Hmm, yeah its normal to play against such obvious smurfs or duo boosters. I was on promos for plat 1 but instead of playing with platinum/diamond enemies I had to play against Master smurfs ( yes they played really good ). The skill difference on their team was so obvious, our level 7 katarina plat 1 lost her diamond promos as well because she got rekt in lane by the heimer ekko duo.

Not to mention we had a gold 1 lee sin for some reason who was no match for this ekko. Why is this allowed to exist in the game? It's really toxic and tilting for people who try to climb or play a normal game only to find out they have to win against master players. This isnt the first time this happened to me. When I see people with 30 level account and 10/10 placements who go duo it's a guranteed defeat, very rarely have I managed to win against these players.

This could be considered duo boosting? I know riot doesnt care about smurfs but these people play duo to win 100%

Sportsmanship doesn't seem to be valued in Rank. It's as if LoL was made only for the Pro scenery - cause that's the only place it matters (playing against others of similar skill). Even tho, i can agree that it's much easier to focus on fair-play when it comes to Pros - since their number is quite small... there should be better ways to improve the current system as well. I mean, every 2 weeks they release a patch - where they tried to balance some champions, yet... "matchmaking seems to be completely ignored". Seriously... how many changes/improvements to the matchmaking system (as a whole - not just the highest elo part) - did they reveal in last hundreds of patches?! 🤨

And that... despite of all the topics with complaints about matchmaking's broken state (by now - there's probably thousands of them).😐 Thus, and while taking in consideration the huge population of smurf - most games in LoL are a bully's playground. You're either getting bullied while in a disadvantaged team or you're part of the bullying team. It's even ironical at times, as in... you loose the games where you give your best (in the zone - so to speak) - and win the games where you play like shit (one of those late night tired games - where you barley land a skill shot out of 10, you die on every gang/team fight - yet your smurf premade carries your game to victory... while you would have been more helpful - if you stayed afk that whole game).

makes no sense how i can do fine one game and then next match makes it look like im new to the game. if matchmaking was decent , i should do consistently fine.

It sucks, but this is fine.

Smurfs that duo aren't a new thing.

So who else would you put 2 silver accounts with 100% winrate against?

Higher elo than plat? same problem, even more severe in elo difference there. Lower elo than plat? they won't have a problem fighting through there either, the smurf problem still stands.

Smurfs are a problem in and of itself, that's not really the matchmaking's fault.
