Should Gangplank have a Gapcloser?
Hello everyone!
Recently I've been thinking a lot about gangplank, and about the things he faces that usually can spell the end for our fruit-eating pirate that is very abundant in the top lane; being over-poked or all-ined on with characters that have more damaging abilities to bear against him (which is almost all top laners)
I was curious what the community thought of this idea for a change for his Raise Morale; Rather then give a movement and damage speed boost for himself and those around him when he activates it, instead he dashes/charges to a target, and activates it upon arrival. Think Fiora's lunge with the rallying cry at the end. Remove the active buffs he would get from it in excange for the gap closing, and give the AD/MS buff to the area around him on his arrival at the target. That would balance it out a little more, so that rather then being a mini-sivir (cast and everyone charge in) ability, he could have more of a bruiser'ish reaction, getting into the thick of the frey and giving the power to those who were already in it or close behind him. His passive slow would allow him to stick better to the target he jumped in on, making the MS not needed as a secondary stat for a active any longer.
Raise Moral: Passive: Grants Gangplank a passive %/% MS/AD. Active: Gangplang charges to the targeted enemy with a rallying cry/point blank shot, inspiring allies around him for %/% MS/AD bonus and stunning the target for 0.25 seconds (enough time to get a first auto attack off)
I feel this would allow him to get in at least more equal trades with those who can just spam more damage onto him overall, giving him a chane to stack his passive and try to go toe to toe with his opponent as a true pirate should. And if it did make him feel too strong, I am sure some of his numbers could be adjusted to compensate.
What are your thoughts? Do you think a charge would benifit, or overall hinder Gangplank's growth?

Those are all good items on him, and all apply movement modifiers to him or his opponent in one way or another.
