Please hear me out, Please revert Urgot bring back our Urgot that we loved he was good and unique fun to play and much rewarding in late game. you reverted LB and ZAC why not Urgot even though he has huge visual update than the two but its still can happen reduce his size by little and bring back the hidden gem of Zaun. now he is boring his W feels weird and feels slow to control sluggish and no one plays him much, even though the new one got little update and his shield moved from W to his E was it a mistake or a its hard to swallow your pride when it was a bad rework am sorry to say this but i loved playing Urgot he was my favorite champ. it was sad experience to play him after the rework i tried to adjust but it didn't feel like Urgot just another tank with execute ult felt boring its looks like dumb down version no skill required (no fun) just build him tank and wait for your ult like Garen. was the rework outcome was what you hoped for. look at Yummi and Ivren now they are unique why not bring back the Urgot.

Urgot is, by and far, THE most successful VGU to date. Sion and Morde are contenders and Sion might actually be #1 but the point stands. Reverting Urgot would be as silly as giving Kassadins silence back

As I have said to people complaining about the Morde VGU, they CAN'T revert them, because they usually don't have the old assets any more with which to revert, for one thing.

Second, Riot DOESN'T REVERT VGUS. Sorry to be THAT guy, but sometimes a dose of Hard Reality is what people need.

Pre-rework Urgot was largely considered to be THE WORST champion. The new Urgot is a pretty strong pick and a decent lane bully. Urgot is also considered one of the most successful reworks in that they made one of the worst champions become one of the strongest without being OP. Why would you ever revert it

"I detect the presence of silvers in this thread" Why these downvotes attack It must have been from silver yasuo mains

To be honest, I did prefer Urgot before the rework, although I also preferred Swain before his rework as well.

The problem with both those champions is that their reworks were considerably successful and therefore Riot has absolutely no reason to even consider reverting them. They've never cared about any player base enough to change things they see as successful.

All we can do now is hope a League Classic comes into existence one day.

I honestly loved the old Urgot, I picked him anytime I got autofilled top and kicked ass. But that's the problem he was broken and hard to balance. Even tho I personally loved him I cannot see him being healthy to the game in his previous state.

The main reason his winrate was so low however is that people played him mid and bot instead of seeing him for the situational toplane bully that he was, I wanted to clarify that.

The issue isn't really whether the rework was a success because pretty much anyone can say it was. Players that 'did not' play him before got interested.

The issue is however in that it is 'mainly' the players that 'did not' play him before that stand to benefit as opposed to old Urgot mains, which unfortunately much like old Aatrox mains or what have you have a hole left where their favorite champion was previously.

As much as the player base or Riot may think that they preserved his kit and playstyle this can not be further from the truth. Instead, they focused on preserving him thematically, which my self and a lot of old Urgot mains do not care too much for.

The arguments that his kit was not viable or that his abilities didn't work well together is a fallacy. Given enough time to learn his kit would prove otherwise. They even played him in the LCS to a high success just prior to his rework. He was in a really good spot after the small quality of life changes he received.

To conclude, his rework removed a niche playstyle and player base from the game. Whilst his rework has seen a lot of success amongst the player base at large, it still stands to hurt the players that cared about him the most. As such if a revert of his rework isn't possible, re-releasing him as a separate champion would also be a very welcome alternative.
