Why is Kennen still in the game?

Totally ragemoding right now but apparently i'm far from being the only one ragemoding because kennen is made of concentrated fail and weak. I've seen a post somewhere that an annie with 300 ap does as much damage as a kennen with 700. Wanted to test it out. Confirmed. Tried him with runaan, doesn't work because his passive got forked. (Next stun within 7 sec is diminished), his ult only pops 3 stacks on the enemy and after that apparently lightning cannot strike someone again.

Screw it. I'm just venting. Remove kennen please and refund everybody their money for him. FIX OLDER CHAMPS FOR F...SAKE. <

A Kennen with 700 Ap does 1295 base +2170 from scaling (3465 total). Of this, 3 of his skills are in an AoE.

A Annie with 300 AP does 895 base + 735 from scaling (1630 total). This is increased by 120 per autoattack while her shield is up and 176.25 for every second Tibbers is in autoattack range and autoattacking an enemy.

For Annie to BREAK EVEN, single target, she would need 1835 damage from E + Tibbers AoE burn.
