Choppy Gameplay

So recently after the 5.14 patch i haven't been able to play LoL due to the fact that when I get into a game it runs choppy and it's impossible to play. This has not happened before and my LoL ran fine before the 5.14 patch update. With the new patch they added a new HUD. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to play, I have been looking for a solution for the last 3 days because I have spent money on this game so I don't want to just not be able to play the game anymore. Please if anyone has a solution, please help me. I have even sent in a email to Riot games and still haven't received any help in return, so I am running out of options.
