Illaoi incoming and Juggernaut archetype

What does everyone think about the new champion Illaoi coming out? I say she looks amazing, she's basically the perfect example of a strong female character! Usually league has released either Busty or Cute female characters and it's very nice to have a change from that, her figure looks amazing and her face kinda reminds me of that villain from El-Dorado, if anyone remembers that cartoon movie.

Her abilities are rather..interesting! I really like them a lot though, she seems like she'll be really fun to play and be able to start teamfights if she can just pull a champions spirit to her.

Also, about the Juggernaut Archetype, I really think League should make Juggernaut it's own Category, because so far I've noticed that Juggernaut's really are different from tanks and should have their own category in the store/champions page, hopefully this happens and it also becomes an archetype on the teambuilder aswell, going to add a poll here incase anyone wants to vote on that! First off: By strong we mean physically. Strength of character can be on anyone.

Of course, that's what I meant, I love seeing a buff woman for once! The closest we got was Vi, and well..she isn't really that buff as far as I can tell, and I am excited too, glad to be a top lane main! :D

juggernauts are basically low-mobility bruisers but it wouldn't be abject if they had their own class, since they tend to stick out as having harder carry potential

she's gonna have some pretty nasty flank potential as well

For sure! I'm really excited to get to play her on the PBE when the updates come, she'll be amazing to try out, I really wonder how I'll be meant to build her or if she'll be AP or AD..It's really going to be a fun champion.

i'm gonna assume AD champ based on the juggernaut label unless it's a weird Mordekaiser situation where she can double dip

I'm kinda curious if she'll be incentivized to grab more damage than Cleaver and Sterak's and how well she can use CDR/attack speed. Maybe Triforce will be good on her if she can use her W/Q constantly enough?

Yeahh, that's what I'm wondering too, they say she'll be a juggernaut so I'm wondering if it'll be a skarner type or say a Garen type based on the builds, it'll be really interesting.

i wanna know how well she can jungle too. Probably not amazing because her passive seems relatively RNG-ish and her sustain is linked to champions (but Kindred can have it on anything of course ;)))

I'm predicting she'll be more teamfight oriented instead of having amazing dueling power like Garen and Skarner

Well it's not necessarily RNG as far as I can tell, I presume it activates upon the use of her abilities, considering I kept seeing them spawn whenever she used an ability so she might have some control over when they activate, plus they deal damage in an AOE and jungle monsters tend to stand still, she could be a really good jungler! You know how it is with Riot, she could end up being a better jungler than a top laner.

Tahm Kench was meant to be a top laner when they first made him, but they ended up moving his kit to support due to the fact it fit his kit more, and as for being teamfight oriented...yeah I can definitely see that, she seems like she'll be able to just mess someone up with that potential mega-slow in a teamfight, and all those tentacles will just go crazy with damage!

Agreed, I really hope she won't weak, but from the abilities she has, it'll be hard for enemies to fight her up close so I doubt that she will!

How'd you get that from her personality? As far as I can tell she doesn't really care much for other females at all, she helps those who she chooses to helps and even in the lore they said she and Gangplank did 'something' together, though I'm unsure of what it is, based on how they spoke about it, it seems she and Gangplank used to be in love in some form!

She's buff, yes, but as far as I can tell the only person she truly cares about is Nagakabouros, the god she worships.
