Let teemo jump over his mushrooms, with (E)

Teemo

Now that the champion has been reworked, I'd like to share this idea with the staff and let you know what you think about it.

With the recent changes buffing his passive and R (Noxious trap) being reworked to be make the champion versatile, I think the is open room for an improvement in his gameplay using his new "bounce mushroom" ability.

The idea is to give the satan champion a new mechanic inherit with his renewed mushroom. I'd be a "gnar" type of mechanics, related with jumping and giving to his "E" ability an active usage.

I'd be very nice if teemo can jump over his mushrooms (and only over his mushrooms, not overything else) and bounce like when gnar jump over somebody, using his E that right now is useless and with a passive use.

By implementing that mechanic, great uses could be wall jumping for escapes, fancy plays or other type or for defensive usage.

A pretty nice fancy play would be that you jump over the mushroom, and while in the air, throw a bling over the objective and in the same time throw a mushroom for not letting any possible escape (just imaginary).

A defensive usage could be to have a mushroom planted behind you and when need (formely called gank) just jump back.

You maybe think by doing this would create a monster that would abuse over the lane, but at my point of view, jumpling over the mushroom could have a cost, and that is that the mushroom itself get de-activated because you crushed it when jumping over it.

I don't know, I think that adding a single usage for an ability that has no use (It really has no use) would create a very versatile and funny champion to play.

I hope you like the idea, and any feedback is very apreciated.

Cause every champion needs a point and click gap closer right?

No they do not.

Sounds fun, but got to say no. That just gives him way to much mobility combined with W.

But that's what he's supposed to be doing. He's Swift Scout, and before mobility creep started, he was one of the most mobile champions in the League.

Well. I'm somewhat okay with this, but it has to have a cost or high CD, so he can't abuse it. In all honesty I didn't really like the mobility creep coming in, and that's why I get iffy when I hear people say more mobility and skill shots, but it could be a good change if done correctly.

Cap the shrooms he can jump on too. 3 Max or something.

Edit: Might need a W MS nerf too.

Totally agree, by enabling this should have a cost, it could be have mana cost, high cooldown, resulting in the trap being disabled, or all of them :). But I mean the idea of letting the teemo jumping is very nice (to me at least) :).

And this goes with the preconception of what a mushroom does in games or cartoons, you jump over them.

See what you have to think is. What will this be used for, and why is it a good thing or a bad thing?

It will be used for catching up/escaping. Teemo already has a good W, which already does 2 of those things, so I think the best idea is to put some sort of MS nerf on W, and make it so the shrooms blow up when teemo jumps on them. It would only make sense. Totally don't hate Teemo or anything >:D

I understand, its good to read any type of feedback while is constructive, thanks for your response :D

I'd add that the suggestion is to jump only over a mushroom. The mushroom can be disabled by enemy and you must carry with you at least one in inventory and wait 1.5 secs to enable the trap if you want to escape.

Is not like insta jump like tryndamere passing through walls.

Teemo without his current e cannot win lane and poke effectively

I meant, his current E is only passive, like varus W, or vayne W, you never really "use it" as an active ability :)

With W, maybe? That's his mobility spell, so I think replacing it would be okay. We can keep the passive portion, too.

Sure.

Only, he gets it instead of poison.
