I'm confused about the grading, so like my friend was adc and got 30/9/18, 235 cs, had the most damage dealt compared to both teams and only got an A+ and not an S. Is there a bug issue or are the grading standards for the adc role too high just to get an S?

Mysticman891 votes9 deaths is somewhat of a lot, and 235 cs is only good if it was somewhere in the 20-30 minute game range.
There are also many other factors than kda and cs (objective participation, warding, kill participation, etc.) that are taken into account, and in any case you're compared to others on the same champ in the same role, so players set the standards. The top 2% get S+, the top X% get S, the top Y% get S-, etc, rather than any particular numerical cutoffs.
