hi i am sort of new to mid lane i like playing malzahar and just push all the lanes i think he is a good wave control mage . but if i want to be serious about ranked solo que i also want to learn different playstyles what sort of rooster (i am thinking of about 3-4 champs) should i play in order to have all the essentials .
If you truly want to be good at mid, you need to be good at every champion that is in the meta. Ofc you can still climb easier initially with fewer champions. Assassins are definitely among the strongest picks and i would also recommend corki but he is going to get nerfed next patch so i don't know yet if it's still worth learning him. Assassins aren't going anywhere though.
assasins seem harder to play and have risky playstyle in general . but they got their perks
Find a champ you enjoy and play that one. If you like heavy wave clear champs ziggs and xerath are fun but they are all skill shot champs.
Learn her and nothing else will ever feel "difficult".
And drop malz.
