Is it true Riot favours some champs the most? and always buffs them?

I mean look at riven, and look at teemo when people finally found ways to counter him and with recent changes he fell off riot went ahead and buffed him to keep him on top lol.

Rumble LeeSin hasn't seen nerfs in years riven is a pub stomper so cc her and you just won the fight not that hard.

That's because Lee Sin is already nerfed to the ground and never received buffs afterwards. You only see him in LCS because of his kit and those players have played this champ quite often for YEARS. In solo queue he's terrible.

Lee sin terrible in soloq?? Please far from terrible, you know what's nerfed to the ground kha zix. I swear he can't even get out of the ground with his e that's how bad he has been slammed. Lee sin got some minor tweaks. The only real nerf was the as slow removal.

I think it goes without saying that LeeSin hasn't seen any nerfs.

I'll show myself out now.

Seriously, since when has Teemo been on top of anything? You're just objectively wrong about him. If there was a shred of truth to that, I wouldn't be verbally abused in champ select almost every game for picking him into free-farm lanes.

Its not that they buff them, its that they don't nerf them. Meaning no matter when they will always be viable. Then when any other champion sees 30 seconds of fame, they get gutted to complacent.

Teemo neither has such a big winrate, nor is he banned that often,so yeah he isn't that bad, just annoying.

They once refrained from reworking lee sin, because everyone complained about it(though they did nerf him a bit back then)

Some champs are left a bit underpowered on purpose though. Urgot isn't buffed too much, because he is either bad,or opressive.

Teemo was forgotten for a long time actually, and this change is a power shift, not supposed to be a buff or nerf. However, expect Teemo's winrate to drop as his ult is less reliable now. (It takes longer to arm up, so you can't put it on yourself anymore when an enemy jumps on him for a nearly immediate explosion.)
