Bard Change.

is at a pretty reasonable state at this point it time. As someone who mains bard and plays him nearly every game I have a request on a change that I wish we could see. The problem is that bards ult does damage. Now I'm sure most people that don't play bard think I'm crazy because it doesn't have any damage numbers. However, Riot has programmed this ability to deal 1 damage to insure that hitting someone with it will give you an assist.

The problem with that is that this puts you in combat. Which means you lose all movement speed that you get while out of combat. The problem with this is then you have to sluggishly try to get into a position to line up your stun which becomes very difficult. Normally you end up having to flash to get into position to hit your stun and I think that's a problem.

TLDR; I don't care about the assists remove the one damage from bard ult. I'd rather win games than have a nicer score at the end.

Affecting an enemy, even from 1/3 of the map away, counts as entering combat with them. Even if you don't do any (meaningful) damage, if you do something to them, you're no longer "out of combat". I'm sorry, but that really is "working as intended".

So when you had first posted this I read it and thought to myself that you were right and I didn't think anything off it however a couple of weeks ago I thought about it more realized there are zero damage CC's in the game and they infact don't deactivate item 3117 to list a few there is Fiddlesticks fear, Karthus wall, and Ekko bubble.

Now this is less important of a request since item 3158 are a lot better of an option on Bard . However, I would still like the choice of being able to buy item 3117 without feeling punished because my ult does 1 damage.

Other than that, even prior all the unneeded buffs he received, he's just in a perfect state imo. (disregarding the fact that Mana Potions "nerfed" a lot of support including Bard atm)

Oh god no that would be awful. Why would you want this it brings up the exact same problem that I want solved. More importantly if an enemy goes through your portal and you aren't there to stun them to the wall you really don't deserve the assist.

I've thought bard was perfectly fine since they worked out most of his bugs. Ever since then I think they have been overtuning him for no reason.
