Subtle Balance Idea for Annie

For her Passive what if instead of her being able to just hold the stun forever, they change it to where if she doesn't cast a spell in x amount of seconds maybe around 6-8 (rough numbers) seconds she will lose a stack of her passive and every 6 seconds from then on she would lose another. For example she has 4 stacks and she doesn't cast a spell so after 6 seconds she would go down to 3 stacks another 6 seconds 2 stacks and so on. This change would bring more decision making while playing Annie without really changing anything about her in my opinion. This is just my thought on it and is also my first post in this forum and would love to hear you're guy's thoughts as well. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.

I think it is a good idea, Would definatly balance her out a bit! Good thought!

I actually think this would take away too much power from her. It would destroy her ability to roam and completely crushes any chance of her being played in the support role (though she hasn't been there in a while but still, never know when the meta will shift). It would make sense in the mid lane but, again, really hurts roams and objective fights (baron/drag).

Number one on the list for nerfs she needs is her actually throwing tibbers rather than him appearing. Back when Veigar got changed, Riot stated that AOE instant long range stuns were not okay, changed Veigar's and left Annie completely alone. For the life of me I can't figure out why she got left alone. Make tibbers have a delay, so you can actually react to it, and Annie becomes so much more tolerable.

Number two would be to make her Q not a full mana reset, but that honestly might take too much power away; Tibbers is number one and really needs to happen.

I agree. And it'd be cute to have her toss a cute little Teddy Bear (like Gragas with his ult) and having it morph into Tibbers upon landing.

I wouldn't say destroy her ability to roam it would weaken it which could be balanced by adjusting the time that it takes for the stacks to decay. As for crushing her Chances of playing support not really I feel that it would cause her to play smarter by deciding if using a little more mana now to keep the stacks up or let them fall off for now would be better. The biggest hit in my opinion using this method would be she couldn't run back to lane with stun ready, which honestly if you put in the hard work to force her out should be you're reward for doing so as her stun isn't a skill shot like most others are and it has a long duration. As for hurting objectives that could be an issue, if she is going to them straight from like base or all the way across the map. Thank you for your response I enjoyed reading it. (sorry if my response is a little jumbled just got home from college and a little tired.)
