How to get your teammates to push?

Many games that I've lost were due to not pushing and losing sight of objectives. I've tried so many different approaches to ask my team not to all chase 1 kill into the enemies jungle. But every game it never fails. I'm at bronze 2 currently, was silver 3 last year. I had bad luck of having 6 afk in my first 10 games (not an exaggeration,) and now I have not been able to get out due to poor attitude and people just giving up when things aren't going well. I'm not bad but I'm not good enough to carry myself that high. I want a constructive way to tell my team mates that when you're ahead, you need to go for towers and objectives, not roam their jungle looking for the next kill, or back at the worst times, or just roam around waiting for them to respawn again. I main support, and I'm not looking to change my role. I just would like some tips as how to get your teammates to listen. I've tried tough love, kindness, it just doesn't seem like it clicks into anyone's heads that at such a low elo, it's as simple as that. Or maybe the problem IS just me. Either way, I'd love some advice!

If you find out, let me know. The amount of Halo players in LoL blow my mind. Playing support/tank is the worst.

I try relentless positivity and an appeal to their desire to accomplish something. It's by no means a 100% successful tactic, but I've convinced a few lone wolves to be a team before. Plus, no risk of getting reported for toxicity this way =D

"Hey guys! We've got them on the ropes, but we need to close this out with tower kills and knocking over those inhibs. Would you mind grouping up for the win? We could use some help in (lane)"

It seems like even when I am positive (I've never had a warning about my behavior) I noticed people will point the finger at me solely because I'm the only one talking. But I will try exactly that and see how it goes. Thank you!

You don't. You buy a Zz'Rot Portal and Banner of Command and do all the pushing yourself. If you rely on your team to do anything, you'll lose the game 100%. Use the time the enemy team wastes catching and killing your team to take down towers.

Hmm, sounds good actually. Just ignore them if they rage at me for not following them, I guess? It always makes me feel in the wrong if I don't follow the crowd, no matter how much I think it's a bad idea.
