what can i do when playing against an akali

i feel like in a 1 on 1 there is little i can do as most of the mages i play she has very good sustain and really good burst i feel like unless i have a jungler who gives my lane a lot of attention i will lose if anyone knows what i cna do while playing these champs early game i try to be aggressive because pre 6 akali sucks but once she get revolver and cutless she does so much
