Aurelion Sol Rework (sorry if im not as convincing im sure high rank sol mains can extend more)

Could you please revert aurelion sol back to his original state? According to the reddit on /raurelionsolmains, nearly all dislike the aurelion sol changes. The w from a toggle to a spell, changes seems like aurelion sol isn't a true majestic dragon anymore. The Aurelion sol communities are all not having fun with the changes. He seems useless during laning phase and it just feels like a piece is missing in aurelion sol's kit. Please glue the piece back into his kit so sol mains would enjoy playing the dragon in summoners rift. Thanks. I just want Riot Games to consider the change that many sol mains has been requesting and wishing. I miss playing aurelion sol man TT

oh, please. i more than fully agree with this post. ever since the rework, i've literally never had joy or any motivation to evne play aurelion, since of how bad he has become. my name makes me feel like i'm worthless at this point too.

Old Aurelion felt like you really were a god, able to massively impact a teamfight. Enemies ignoring you would be a GREIVOUS mistake as they would soon realize who the real carry was. This sol feels like just a generic burst mage with good roaming. You burst one or two people down and either back out or get deleted cause all you can do is q, press w and try to hit them as many times as possible before ulting them when they're low. Once q, w, and r are on cd you have nothing.

Please hear me out on this. I personally like the change to Aurelion Sols W. In my opinion, landing a stun and immediately being able to hit an opponent with stars rapidly is nice. I think there is a good medium which can satisfy everyone. Players like myself who prefer Sols new early game potential, and players who want Sol's late game presence.

The change I propose:

Have Sol's W cooldown become lower with each point invested in the skill. At max skill level allow the player to recast the ability before the stars retract to extend the duration they are out and re-accelerating them. If it is not re-cast the stars will retract and provide the movement speed bonus.

This may not be a toggle, but it will be a good middle ground for players like myself, and the OG Sol players.

I played him first time and even I have realized his W now doesnt make any sense. I mean with this rework im sure new players like me just ingores him. And how a saw in videos i might enjoy him if his W would be fun. Now its annoying, and i dont play games for making myself angry i guess.

I agree with OP, completely ruined the champion. He was my favorite champ to play and after trying out the rework i absolutely hate it. Needless rework and ruined the champ in the process. Garbage, Garbage, Garbage. I couldn't even finish the game I was in because i was so disgusted with what you guys did to my boy. Butchered him. PLEASE REVERT HIM TO THE WAY HE WAS.

i agree as well, but lets face it Riot never has actually cared about AurelionSol

compared to the time they reverted Rengar he was a champion that actually had a ton of skins and was making them money where Sol only has two skins.

had numerous delays in release from back in 2013

and has only seen a single skin since release.

What if they changed his W to be if it hits a champion the duration is extended by 1.5s and up the mana cost to cast by 10-30
