I would get it if my team have a duo with a gold player, but seriously how is the matchmaking that broken?

low silvers versus high bronzes and a low silver? looks fine to me. i mean there's no difference in skill level anyway.
It's mmr based, not division based. After resets, you could have huge division differences between players of the same mmr.
